Stress-Free Preparation for Your Visit
To make your visit as smooth as possible, our team will collect your insurance details and verify your benefits ahead of time, so you’ll know your coverage and any out-of-pocket costs before you arrive. Please bring your dental and medical insurance cards, a current medication list, and two forms of ID if you’re applying for financing.
We offer electronic new patient forms for you to complete in advance, or you can arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill them out here.
Your First Appointment: Simple, Gentle, and Clear
Your first appointment lasts about 60-90 minutes. Our front desk will greet you, scan your ID, and take a quick photo. You’ll meet a hygienist to discuss your dental history, concerns, and goals. We’ll take necessary digital X-rays, provide a thorough exam, and do a cleaning if appropriate. If periodontal therapy or a deep cleaning is needed, we’ll explain the reasons and schedule promptly.
Your dentist, Dr. Jason Nelsen, will review your X-rays, answer questions, and create a personalized treatment plan. Our financial coordinator will go over treatment recommendations, costs, insurance, and payment options so you feel confident every step of the way. We accept most major dental insurance plans and all PPO plans. We are in-network with Cigna, Metlife, Aetna, Ameritas, Guardian, Delta, BlueCross BlueShield, Humana, and United Healthcare. We DO NOT accept Medicaid.
