At Nelsen Dental Excellence, we believe a healthy smile shouldn’t be limited to those who can easily access dental care. That’s why our team makes it a priority to show up around Charlotte, not just in the chair but out in the community where people live, work, and play.
Community Health Fairs
You’ll often find us at local health fairs handing out toothbrushes, answering questions, and connecting neighbors with the dental care they need. We’ve partnered with organizations like the Steve Smith Family Foundation and C. W. Williams Community Health Center for their Fuel Your Family’s Health event, along with CMS health fairs, all with the same goal: making dental health approachable and accessible for every family in Charlotte.
NC Missions of Mercy
Our team is proud to volunteer with the North Carolina Missions of Mercy Clinic, a large scale event that provides free dental care to patients who otherwise couldn’t afford it. From cleanings to extractions, our providers roll up their sleeves alongside dozens of other dental professionals to make sure care reaches the people who need it most.
Steps for Shelter Pets
Community means more than just people. We’ve teamed up with Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control for their Steps for Shelter Pets event, supporting local shelter animals looking for their forever homes.
School and Neighborhood Events
From Tuckaseegee Elementary’s Spring Fling to spring specials and giveaways at local events around town, we love connecting with families where they already are. Whether it’s a toothbrush giveaway, a Sonicare raffle, or just a friendly conversation about your family’s dental health, we’re always glad to be part of the neighborhood.
