Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! We are always welcoming new patients of all ages and look forward to helping you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to finish paperwork; most forms are sent electronically. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID so we can verify coverage. If you’ve seen another dentist recently, X-rays or records can be helpful but aren’t required.

How long will my first visit take, and what happens during it?

Your initial appointment usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes. Our hygienist reviews your history, discusses concerns, and takes digital X-rays.

Dentist Dr. Jason Nelsen examines your teeth and gums, reviews the X-rays, and explains any findings. When appropriate, we’ll complete your cleaning the same day. If you need periodontal therapy or a deep cleaning, we’ll explain why and schedule it for you.

Do you accept my insurance, and what if I don’t have coverage?

We accept most major dental insurance plans and all PPO plans. We are in-network with Cigna, Metlife, Aetna, Ameritas, Guardian, Delta, BlueCross BlueShield, Humana, and United Healthcare. We DO NOT accept Medicaid.

We also have an in-house membership plan for those without insurance. It is $425 for an Adult, which includes two cleanings, two regular exams, one emergency exam, all X-rays needed, two fluoride treatments, and a complimentary electronic toothbrush at sign-up. You also receive 20% off of fillings, crowns, bridges, partials, implants, extractions, sealants, and 10% off Aligners. There is also a 20% discount for Botox treatments.

For a child, the cost is $350 and includes two cleanings, two regular exams, one emergency exam, all X-rays needed, and two fluoride treatments. A child also receives 20% off of fillings, crowns, bridges, partials, implants, extractions, and sealants. Our team is happy to verify your benefits before your appointment.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer flexible financing options and an in-office membership plan for patients without dental insurance. Our team will review all costs and payment options before treatment begins. We partner with CareCredit® and Sunbit.

I haven’t been to the dentist in years; will I be judged?

No. Our team understands that life gets busy and past experiences can be intimidating. We listen without judgment and use an exam and X-rays to assess your needs and create a phased treatment plan that fits your schedule and budget.

How often should I visit the dentist?

For most patients, we recommend a dental exam and professional cleaning every six months. Some patients with periodontal (gum) disease may benefit from more frequent visits.

What can I do to make my appointment more comfortable?

Our treatment rooms feature reclining chairs, blankets, pillows, TVs, earplugs, and stress balls to help you relax. We’ll walk you through each step, adjust the pace to match your comfort level, and, if you’re anxious, use our experience with nervous patients to help you feel at ease.

What if I have dental anxiety?

We understand that many patients feel nervous about visiting the dentist. Our team takes the time to explain each step of your treatment and offers comfort amenities such as warm blankets, neck pillows, TVs, earplugs, and stress balls to help make your visit as relaxing as possible.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency?

If you’re experiencing a toothache, broken tooth, swelling, or another dental emergency, call our office as soon as possible. We make every effort to provide same-day emergency appointments whenever available.

Do you offer cosmetic dentistry?

Yes! We offer professional teeth whitening, veneers, dental bonding, Clarity™ Clear Braces, dental implants, Botox®, dermal fillers, and complete smile makeovers to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.

Do you remove wisdom teeth?

Yes. We perform many tooth extractions, including wisdom tooth removal. During your consultation, we’ll determine the best treatment option for your specific needs.

Do you replace missing teeth?

Absolutely. We offer several tooth replacement options, including dental implants, bridges, full dentures, and partial dentures. We’ll help you choose the solution that best fits your lifestyle and budget.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling is easy! Simply call our office or request an appointment online. Our friendly team will help you find a time that works best for your schedule.
